I somehow momentarily glitched and soft-locked the game right as I enter the second dungeon for some reason. It managed to give me an error message a single time that said "Loading error Failed to lead" img/!$soul-door-progress.png" . This made it so the dungeon just wouldn't load.
I reset the tab and it didn't load, then I reset the whole browser and it still didn't load, and then finally reset me computer and it did work for some reason. This seems like some odd glitch on my end but if anyone else experiences this, just try resetting your computer I guess??

I'm glad you are enjoying the game. The issue seems to be related to the game failing to load an image from the server (!$soul-door-progress.png is art used in the second dungeon). I'd guess that the browser cached a broken version of the image, and you finally got it to load it again correctly after resetting the computer. If this happens next time, try reloading the page doing "Ctrl+F5" or "Shift+Ctrl+F5", those commands should force the browser to load the cached images again.

That monster is optional and not needed at all to complete the dungeon. When beating the monsters the level changes a bit to help the player find the right way. And that's why it gets locked out. But as I said, there is no need to face him.

Hey!! Prolly dumb question but when chapter 6 arrives, will the looped book quest with Horace be fixed and will our save files be safe after that..? Also I noticed how when I tried going to someone's bedroom, Will's dialog appeared and not the person living the apartment
To be honest, I'm not sure if that was fixed when I did the 6th chapter. Save files shouldn't be affected by updates, though this also means that the update will not fix any save game that got into a locked scenario. Do you remember whose bedroom was it?
I love jrpg games and chubs. So i played this game for a whole day. Character designs are amazing. I love the seducing mechanic. Also really enjoyed doing little character quests to increase friendship level and rewards. I can't wait for the next update. Amazing job! Considering to become a patron at the beginning of next month.

I have encountered a bug where I need to talk to Kyle in his place at night to get the book from him but when I go to talk to him he just says to let him know if there is anything he can do for me.
Not sure if there is anything I can do to work around it is stopping progress in the story.
Hello There is an issue that has yet to be corrected in the public version, regarding the book quest. Checking the library computer will reset the book quest in a way that can lock the game progress. Until this version is updated to one with this issue fixed, my recommendation is to follow the walkthrough on this particular section:
Talk to Horace. Go to the Library. Use the Library computer. (And don't use it again) Go to the basement. Check the sparkling area where the book should be. Go upstairs and talk to Kyle. Go home and sleep until night time. Go to Kyle's home (Commercial area, the building on the left). Talk to Kyle. Go back to Horace's home. Talk to Horace.
So I'm stuck at check on Steve I go to his house after the talk with Ulysses he wasn't there and I got stuck. After just wandered around for a good 30 mins trying to find steve, I went to the library I clicked on the computer, and it activated the pheromone book quest again and now I'm stuck. Fortunately I did have a different save file but that save file also has the same issue where I can't find Steve so idk what to do.
Ok so I went back to my chap 3 file and redone chap 4. I didn't think that the keycard was in the wall and didn't have a hint to I wasted quite a while for that but now I'm able to progress. Might wanna make that more obvious. Good game tho. R.I.P all the progress with being a delivery boy

Yep, had some on me and he said Steve's been acting strange it's saying to check on Steve, but he's still there and I can't go back to the campus area now
Errands are random, Mark's errand should still be available. Make sure you are going to the store and talk to Greg at night, and not to the Cafe (both places give different errands). Still, the idea is to have every character show up eventually in game, and not just via the errands.

After you give the book to Horace, he will mention that the subway is closed. You should check both stations during the day, and then go north of the library to check the third one in the new area that will open up.

The file saves are stored in the browser data, so as long as you don't change browsers or actively delete it, it should work fine. If this is about the text being garbled issue, that one seems to be an issue where the browser/video card are mapping the fonts incorrectly.
Can you tell me which browser are you using? I have had this reported to me happening to someone when using Firefox, but I have been unable to reproduce it myself.

Why do I always lose my save file when you updated it? ;_;
its not just that the save file is lost, theres a glitch that wont let you create new save files as well

nope, the only thing im using is an ad blocker, but it has never interfered with the game's save data before now, so i dont think thats the issue

I'm so confused on the night mare maze thing with the green ogres and stuff how do I get past the eye stone things I'm so stuck

As for the stone doors, when you rescue a soul, you should get a colored ball that you can use to open the matching door.

The data is stored by the web browser. Where and how it's saved depends on every browser and it's probably encrypted.
