I was actually using the map lol.
If this is RPG maker, instead of doing it all over again, you could create a parallel process event on the main map for the construction site labyrinth that checks a variable(# of player steps) that when it reaches a certain #(whatever number you think indicates someone is struggling).
Though, you'd probably need to add a few events of the plushie or something helping the player by showing the way.

No, you can avoid enemies.

I love the game as well as the concept. Although, During Chapter 3 where I found the living stuffed Animal and need to go save Phil . Once I went through the door, the game just won't work anymore. It's just a white screen even when I open the game again.

There is a tool for exporting save files from one version and importing them into the other, but I do admit it is a bit clunky.

Hey dev, I'm currently on chapter 6. One of the enemies in Chapter 6's maze seems unreachable (No arrow tiles point to the tiles required to reach the enemy). Is it a bug or is designed that way...?
Each time you defeat an enemy the maze arrows change a bit, and that enemy can be locked out.
But that enemy is optional and won't make any difference defeating him or not.

The game was fun and I enjoyed it a lot! A small suggestion here: the main storyline by far feels pretty linear, and there isn't much to do other than matching NPCs together. I think maybe you could add, say, some RNG events throughout the game to spice it up? For instance, having Dave and Zane show up at dorm bathroom together by chance and let players read some flavor texts about their business ;)
Also I hope there could be more bottom enemies / bosses, or maybe like how it is with the upgraded gold demon boss, let players have it both ways :D
I have several ideas for content to add, but not that much time to make them, so for now I'm focusing on the story, maybe once that is finished I can start to add extra bits and more enemy interactions.

If you are talking a bout reaching a 5 start level of friendship with him, that content has yet to be released to the public version of the game.

Hey, sorry but, I can't save my game. Every time I go to save I receive an error message, I'm on Chrome. Loving the game so far though!
Are you in incognito mode? The game saves are stored with the browser's data, and incognito mode prevents anything from being saved.
In the Chapter 6 dungeon I for some reason it just wont let me reach a certain enemy even though all the rest are defeated. I guess one of the other defeated ones changed the part of the path that would lead there and made it impossible. Kind of annoying as up till this point I defeated every enemy(afaik). Not a huge deal though I guess as I still really like the game now that I completed what's out as of right now. Imgur link shows the possible paths and how none work.

Yes, that enemy can get locked out, but he can be skipped completely without any repercussions in the game.

I somehow momentarily glitched and soft-locked the game right as I enter the second dungeon for some reason. It managed to give me an error message a single time that said "Loading error Failed to lead" img/!$soul-door-progress.png" . This made it so the dungeon just wouldn't load.
I reset the tab and it didn't load, then I reset the whole browser and it still didn't load, and then finally reset me computer and it did work for some reason. This seems like some odd glitch on my end but if anyone else experiences this, just try resetting your computer I guess??

I'm glad you are enjoying the game.
The issue seems to be related to the game failing to load an image from the server (!$soul-door-progress.png is art used in the second dungeon).
I'd guess that the browser cached a broken version of the image, and you finally got it to load it again correctly after resetting the computer.
If this happens next time, try reloading the page doing "Ctrl+F5" or "Shift+Ctrl+F5", those commands should force the browser to load the cached images again.
Alright, thanks! If it happens again I will try that, but who knows if it will. I mainly wanted to comment that so that If anyone else experiences the glitch they will know it can be fixed
